Our Mission
technology. innovation. equality.

Women deserve it all.

Our Approach......
Innovation and Technology
Let's Use it To Propel Us Forward
The driving forces of gender equality are not a mystery. They are well researched and well known. Even most antidotes are well-known. The last decade of diversity initiatives has focused on corporate adoption of diversity policies, retraining the masses to overcome a lifetime of bias, and advising women to change. While progess has been made, new tactics are necessary to achieve more rapid change.
Henry Ford didn’t change the world by inventing the car. Neither did he change it by convincing the masses that cars are a moral imperative. Ford changed the world by creating a new, highly efficient, manufacturing mechanism.
Apple didn’t invent the computer. It enabled an average consumer to easily use one. Amazon didn’t invent shopping — it created a simple interface and sophisticated algorithms that guide you to choices you had never considered but ….now you want them.
We believe application of these principles to gender equality would accelerate progress.
Our Proposal Includes Three Pillars:
Learn About "The Equality Can't Wait Challenge"

Pivotal Ventures, Lever For Change, MacKenzie Scott (formerly Bezos) and the Charles and Lynn Shusterman Family Foundation are sponsoring the Equality Can't Wait Challenge. Pivotal Ventures is Melinda Gates' investment and incubation company.
The competition will award $40 million in grants to further gender equality. Most significantly, three of the grants will be for $10 million -- sufficient funding to launch a truly bold initiative.
"The entrenched inequalities that divide America -- race, gender, class -- will not go away without systems-wide change," said Melinda Gates. "This challenge is seeking bold ideas to dismantle the status quo and expand power and influence for women of all backgrounds."

According to Mackenzie Scott, "Closing the gap on gender equality will benefit everyone. History keeps teaching us that when a diversity of voices is represented in decisions, the outcome is better for all. I'm excited that the Equality Can't Wait Challenge will focus energy and innovation on this vital catalyst for positive change."
The Challenge is "...looking for innovative ideas that will bring additional capital and energy into one or more key areas that can expand women's power and influence:
-
Dismantling the barriers that hold women back
-
Fast tracking women in critical sectors
-
Calling society to action"
